Submitting A Manuscript

Looking to become a Targum Press author?

Targum Press publishes books appropriate for, and of interest to, the Orthodox Jewish audience.

To submit book proposals or full manuscripts:

1. Email:
Please submit manuscript with cover letter to editor@targum.com.
Manuscripts should be attached as one complete file with the full name, mailing address, and email address of the author indicated on the file. Please include CV of author's credentials when submitting a scholarly work.

2. Hard copies:

Please be sure to include the full name, mailing address, and e-mail address if available of the author.

What happens next?

You will receive notification, either by email or postal mail, that we have received your manuscript and it is waiting for review.
You will be notified whether or not your manuscript has been accepted.
Only submissions accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope with sufficient postage will be returned.

Publishing opportunities with Targum Press

Although we welcome a wide variety of books, certain books, such as family memoirs or other books with a limited market reach, may not be appropriate for a large distribution. Targum Press has several publishing and production options and services to offer authors, including a professional production staff, for books which will not be distributed to the general market.
